These terms apply to purchases from alanoir.com. Please read them before placing an order and keep a copy with your order confirmation. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information. Nothing here removes your statutory consumer rights.

1. Company information

Alanoir is an England-based company. Our business and correspondence address is 30 Driscoll Street, Preston, Lancashire, PR1 1UP, United Kingdom. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Alanoir. Our customer service email is info@alanoir.com.

2. Your order and contract

Choose your products, add them to your basket and check the items, quantities, delivery address and total before paying. Submitting an order is an offer to buy. The initial order acknowledgement confirms receipt, rather than acceptance. We accept your order when we email confirmation that your products have been dispatched. That contract covers the items listed in that dispatch confirmation.

If stock is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised or we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you. Any payment taken for an order we do not accept will be refunded promptly. We will not substitute a product or increase an agreed price without your consent.

3. Delivery

We currently deliver to United Kingdom mainland and non-mainland addresses. We do not offer international delivery. Mainland standard delivery is free; other services have separate charges. Please see our Shipping information for rates and estimated times. The available delivery options and total charges are shown before payment.

Please provide an accurate delivery address. We will tell you about any significant delay. Unless a different period is agreed with you, delivery will take place within 30 days of the contract being made. If we miss an agreed essential delivery deadline, or fail to deliver within an appropriate additional period you give us, you may have the right to end the contract and receive a refund. Contact us if a parcel is missing or arrives damaged.

4. Responsibility and ownership

We remain responsible for the products until you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, physically receives them. Ownership transfers once we have received full payment and delivery has taken place. Your rights concerning faults, damage or incorrect items continue after delivery.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT. Any applicable delivery charge is shown separately and the total is displayed before you pay. Use one of the payment methods offered at checkout; payment must be authorised before dispatch.

Price changes do not alter an order we have already accepted. If we discover a pricing mistake before accepting your order, we will explain it and let you choose whether to proceed at the corrected price or cancel for a refund.

6. Returns

Please read our Returns & Refunds Policy for cancellation deadlines, return conditions, postage and refunds. This policy forms part of these terms and does not limit your statutory consumer rights.

7. Liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Products are supplied for personal use; we do not accept liability for business losses arising from their commercial use. We do not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We will normally contact you using the email address supplied with your order. These arrangements do not replace any mandatory rules for serving court documents or other formal legal notices.

9. General

English law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Disputes may be brought before the courts of England and Wales, without restricting any right you have to use another competent court. If a provision is unenforceable, the other provisions continue to apply. A delay in exercising a right does not waive it. Updated terms apply to future orders, rather than changing an existing contract retrospectively.

11. Accuracy of information

We aim to keep descriptions, sizes, prices and availability accurate and will correct mistakes when identified. Screen settings can affect how colours look. Fragrance-note descriptions express scent characteristics and are not ingredient lists; consult the product’s ingredient information. These explanations do not override our obligation to supply goods that match their description.

12. Samples

Samples are paid products, not complimentary gifts. The Discovery Pack contains four 2 ml samples: Imperial Violet, Twilight Oud, Serene Elegance and Bakht. Its current price is £20 including VAT, with delivery charged separately. The price shown at checkout applies to your order. Samples have the same applicable consumer protections as other products.
